Bank Bed Gallery is pleased to introduce works by artists who are based in Tokyo.
The art works as the "memories" can be traveled with you. We hope that you will find your favorite piece.

いくつもの判断と行為が重なり合って表現された線と色。
力強く、優しく、ときには迷いながら。
それは音楽に近く、彼らの作品からはそれぞれの音が聴こえるよう。
KOYUBI / 小指
In 2013, she has started producing her attempt to visualize the scenery in staff notation, inspired by listening to music. She designs CD jackets and provides picture subtitles for deaf people in theaters. Also, she produces comic books and writings.
音楽を聴き浮かんだ情景を五線譜に描き視覚化する試み「score drawing」の制作を2013年より開始。CDジャケットのデザインや、映画内のろう者の方への絵字幕の提供など行う。他、漫画や文章の制作もしています。
Takuma Aomatsu / 青松 拓馬
Currently working as an illustrator, a movie director and a character designer. His subjects are people he has met in the city, and drawn with oil pastels. These people appear to look like who you have remembered, or may not but look like speaking to you somehow.
現在、イラスト、映像ディレクター、キャラクターデザインなどやっています。街で出会った人たちを参考にクレパスで描いています。記憶にある誰かに似てるようで誰にも似ていない何か言いたそうな人たちです。何か語りかけくるような絵を目指しています。
Yousuke Kinoshita / 木下ようすけ
After his several music activities, he is actively performing in various medias such as advertisements, books, music, wall paintings and movies. Acrylic paint is mainly used, but he does not try to concentrate on only one technique. His works aim to deliver the ideas of “ambiguous emotions” and “unclearness” with his expression of lightly enjoyable visuals.
いくつかの音楽活動を経て、炭水化物をこよなく愛するイラストレーターとして広告・書籍・音楽・壁画・映像など様々な媒体でプリプリ活動中。主にアクリル絵具だが、一つの手法に拘らず、「あいまいな感情」や「分かりにくさ」のようなものを、視覚でひょいっと楽しめる絵の表現を目指している。
旅の途中。目にした風景、耳を澄ました鳥の声、どこか懐かしい花の匂い。
抱えきれないほどの思い出に囲まれて、心地良いひとときを過ごしていただきたい。
楽しい非日常の時間をカバンに詰め込んで、新たな一日に旅立っていただきたい。
テーマは「採集」。
東京を散歩して集めてきた色々な「思い出」に彩られているイメージです。
Bank Bed Galleryでは、東京をベースに活動しているアーティストの作品を少しずつ紹介いたします。
